Say It Loud: What Are You Really Good At?

Tomorrow morning, at the beginning of a workshop, Iโ€™ll stand in front of 120+ people with this slide behind me and say the words out loud:

โ€œIโ€™ve gotten really good at it.โ€

Just reading those words feels bold. As women, weโ€™re often taught to downplay our strengths, to wait for someone else to recognize them, to shrink instead of shine. But what if we didnโ€™t?

And hereโ€™s the truth: I ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ท๐˜ฆ gotten really good at something. And so have you.

What would happen if we stopped apologizing for our strengths and started celebrating them instead? If we modeled for our daughters, our colleagues, and ourselves what it looks like to stand in our worth?

Iโ€™m nervous. Iโ€™m also ready. Because getting good at something is worth acknowledging. And saying it out loud? Thatโ€™s leadership.

What are you really good at? Say it here. Own it. Letโ€™s normalize celebrating ourselves.
